XVI Records continue their quest to bring sounds from the void, and are proud to present the second beat tape from London-based beatmaker MossGatherer, an artist involved in the label since its inception. His debut beat-tape ‘One’ last year gained support from Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music), Martelo (NTS Radio), Okayplayer, Kutmah & many more.

New EP ‘Out There’ is inspired by the phenomenon of mysterious disappearances in the deep woods, people inexplicably vanishing without a trace into the ether, leaving behind only questions on what lies beyond the metaphysical realm. Four tracks lie within, melding psychedelic influences with analogue textures, organic drums and tripped out grooves. Ethereal melodies and feelings of lament linger behind in the mist.
